Our History
In 1972 Manny Alonso Sr,. Obtained his Master Plumber's license in the State of Florida. Beginning in 1973, he started Professional Plumbing with five employees and two trucks. It was right in the middle of a statewide recession but Manny worked hard, taking on individual home projects, small commercial jobs, "anything we could," he remembers.
By the mid 1980's, we were handling much larger commercial projects like a $4.8 million student housing project at Florida International University's Tamiami Campus.
[Manny] Alonso and his company not only did their work in a most professional manner, they took a leadership role in resolving the field problems and roughing conflicts we all seem to face on every job. They never failed to meet any scheduling commitment.

As our commercial projects grew larger, so did we. Manny Alonso's son, Manny Jr. started working in the business at age 15. A Master Plumber himself and Vice President of our company, Manny Jr. oversees jobs coordination, purchasing and scheduling from our 12,000 square-foot main office and warehouse, while Manny Sr. typically handles field supervision on job sites.
